ESI Chunky Grips

November 25, 2015

Grips are pretty straight forward. In one way or another, they keep your hands firmly on the bar. Yet somehow, many companies have come up with endless iterations on grips. Tread patterns, mounting methods, textures and durability are all strengths of different grips.  Then you ride ESI grips for the first time, and you never look at another one.

Seriously, what more would you want? They are super tacky in the dry and wet, they are durable, and comfortable. And they're the lightest on the market... So, why not ESI?

The only question that remains is which ones! They're all great, but I personally have fallen in love with their extra chunky version. Something about the larger diameter around the bar is just awesome. It really fills your hand and for those of us with longer fingers, feels like I have a better grip on the bar. Not to mention the thicker grip has more cushion! And the weight penalty? Equivalent to about an ounce of water.

So check out ESI extra chunky grips, and don't ever look back.
